Diplomacy and Democracy in Central and Eastern Europe

On May 16th, Open World Romania organized in partnership with the Global Shapers Community and the UiPath Foundation the conference entitled "Diplomacy and Democracy in Central and Eastern Europe". The participants tackled several topics together with Mark Taplin, American Councils for International Education Trustee and Robert Lupițu, Editor-in-Chief of Calea Europeană.

The event was organized for the Open World Romania Alumni community, alumni being accompanied by a person from their professional field, FLEX Alumni, Global Shapers Community, UiPath Foundation and other partners of the American Councils for International Education Romania.

After his speech, the guest, Mark Taplin, together with the moderator, Robert Lupițu, had a discussion about supporting democracy, young people and the steps towards a diplomatic career, disinformation, fake news, addressing the questions asked by the participants.
